I purchased this 1TB external storage drive for my PS4 on August 1st, 2024. Initially, it worked fine, providing the extra space I needed for games. However, over the last week, I started experiencing issues, and now it has completely failed. I've never had a hard drive fail before, so this was a huge disappointment. Now, I've lost all the games and data I had stored on it. To make matters worse, it's not even worth keeping as a doorstop! Avoid this product at all costs. It's unreliable and a complete waste of money.

disconnects constantly; you don't need to touch it, nudge it or whatever - sometimes it just decides "y'know what, I don't feel like staying connected right now" and you need to remove and put it back in, only to then get a bunch of errors because you pulled it out, despite the fact that the option to remove it properly wasn't available, because it wasn't connected
